An English-Swedish pen
I was contacted a little while ago by a lady who wanted a pen made as a gift to celebrate the launch of her good friend's new book. The book is called Halleholm by
Ruth Kvarnström-Jones who is originally from the UK but now lives in Sweden.
So between us we decided on a fountain pen that represented England and Sweden, silver birch and English oak with a custom gold plated 'H' finial.
This was her beautiful dedication that I printed on the certificate
"Two countries - England and Sweden – come together in one author’s story. Two national trees - English oak and silver birch - join with the golden “H” of Halleholm and the golden band of friendship, to create a pen as unique as the author and her story, a pen that celebrates best friends and bestsellers – the way old friends do"
I was delighted to be told that she used the pen at her book launch/signing.
