A rhodium and gold plated large rollerball in amboyna burr and synthetic ivory. Amboyna is an exotic wood from South East Asia, one of the most beautiful and sought after of all burrs. Synthetic ivory is an acrylic resin that is so close to ivory in colouring and patterning that it is used in museums to repair ivory objects.
A stunning pen with ornate finials and centre band, the wood contrasts beautifully with the ivory.
It comes with a black Schmidt medium width, ceramic ball refill which writes incredibly smoothly, other colours and writing width refills are available. Complete in a small presentation box with signed certificate to guarantee its handmade status and includes details on the material used.
A large presentation box is also available that includes a leather carrying case for an additional £20
